Sometimes nature’s beauty whispers.
In tendrils of mist and fog, as a gull glides by
Or a lone fisherman steers his boat quietly through the cottony, morning air.
Sometimes a pearly shell curls around itself, like a flower
Or swirls in spirals
or shimmers subtly in the sun.
A starfish stands proudly while a Sea Fan spreads its delicate, lavender web.
Intricate patterns woven in coral intrigue me.
A mysterious fish bone forms a lovely horn.
I gather these treasures from the waterways I travel
And display them in bowls
And in my bathroom
And they bring me peace, in their stillness and quiet loveliness.
Wishing you every blessing,
